Fine Art Judges

Carol Norman

Carol received her Art Degree from the University of Florida and has been teaching art for 45 years. Currently she is teaching Advanced Placement Art at Lakeland Senior High School where her students win many Art Scholarships. While in Orlando, Carol served as the District-wide Visual Arts Resource Teacher. Carol has served as Judge for several Arts Competitions including the prestigious state-wide Art’s for Life program. Carol currently resides in Lakeland.

Debra Beverlin

Debra received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa and a Master of Arts from the University of Nevada. She has illustrated several books and logos and serves as a guest lecturer in the Arts for various organizations. Debra is active showing her work in galleries and juried shows since 1979. She has received many awards and her work is represented in the United States Military Art Collection. Debra lives in Orlando where she is teaching Advanced Placement Art at Olympia High School.

High School Judge & Critique

Sandy Wirt

Sandy is a former Lecanto School of Art graduate who went on to graduate from Ringling College of Art and Design. Since then she has held positions in Graphic Design, Web Design, Product Design, Home Decor and Stationery Design. Sandy’s work has been published in a lingerie and fashion handbook. For the current two years Sandy has held the position as the Lead Sketch Artist for Anomalie Custom Bridal headquartered in San Francisco.  She resides in Palmetto as “Best in Show” at the Museum of Art in Boca Raton.
